Dr. Gasser pursued his undergraduate education at the University of Utah, where he earned an Honors Bachelor of Arts in Human Development with a Pre-Medical emphasis. He then attended Wake Forest University School of Medicine, where he obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree in May 2008.
Following medical school, Dr. Gasser completed a Transitional Program at the University of Washington, working at the Boise Idaho Veterans Administration Medical Center from July 2008 to June 2009. He then returned to Wake Forest University School of Medicine, where he completed his Radiology Residency at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, from July 2009 to June 2013.
To further specialize, Dr. Gasser completed a Neuroradiology and Head & Neck Imaging Fellowship at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, from July 2013 to June 2014.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Gasser enjoys spending time with his family, engaging in sports and exercise, and participating in various outdoor activities. He is bilingual, fluent in both Portuguese and English.
