Dr. Berg graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Biochemistry from Central Michigan University, Mount Pleasant, Michigan. He obtained his Medical Degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan graduating with Alpha Omega Alpha honors. His post-graduate medical training started at Harbor-UCLA hospital in Torrance, California for his medical internship. He completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Utah, where he also completed a fellowship in Neuroradiology.

In his spare time, Dr. Berg enjoys the outdoors – snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, and traveling.
